My Camaro will always beat Mustangs!

This is my car!

My car is a 1995 Chevy Camaro Z28 convertible. It has a 350cid LT1 motor and a six-speed transmission

It has power everthing including the top. The interior is leather with a cd-player and A/C. It is stock except for a SLP lightweight flywheel, a Centerforce Duel Friction clutch, and a Moroso cold air intake. Recent changes inlude: another optipark, Bosch +4 plugs, Taylor red 8mm Wires, and a MSD coil. I put in a poly trans mount and torque arm rod bushing - big improvement in traction. The best quarter mile is a 14.027 at 98mph (spinning the tires hard, and backing off the throttle) - but I'm still working on it. I haven't been able to get the car to a track lately, but I have gotten my Gtech Pro down to 13.8x on street tires with the new mods.

My Camaro

12/11/00 - The most recent mods are: Adj. fuel pressure reg, tubular rear control arms, panhard rod, and 4.10 gears. I just bought some M/T ET Drag slicks (28x10.5x15) that seemed to bearly fit, but as the tires warmed up and the suspension droping - it rubs the lip and rubbed the paint off. Oh, well! With the slicks, I got the GTech down to 13.65, but I think they are slowing me down in the top end. Plus I need subframe connectors and a strut tower brace to control the chasis flex with the convertible. The next mods are: aluminum driveshaft, LT1 Edit (to correct the speedo),and 17x9 wheels with some 275/45ZR17 tires. Then I need to work on the '69 Camaro.

Dec. 28, 2000 - I bought myself a nice '00 SS. White, T-Tops, leather, six-speed/w hurst shifter, and SLP chrome wheels and Dual/Dual exhaust. Pics to come!!
